Lightbulb Building Stonehenge - This Man can Move Anything

Thought this was pretty interesting. Never seen any of these approaches on cable before. They just say 1000 men and ropes.

I think he DOES have a hobby, albeit a weird one. He's a clever bastard, though. Got my respect.

Yes he is very smart, but he will be found under 20 tons of rock one night, it will be sad.

Maybe he can make a cement boat and try fishing??? I think he can do it.

What I'm wondering is how he gets his fulcrum set up. Does he use heavy equipment to lift it onto the first block so he can start the proces of tipping it back and forth?

He probably digs a hole on one side then gets the block to tip into it with some weight, then puts in the piece of wood. His fulcrum was pretty wide so I think he would have lots of room for play.

I bet preparation/construction for the lift takes much longer than the actual lift.

It's done on an annual basis. American Society of Civil Engineers hods a Concrete Canoe COmpetition every summer for engineering students. This year will mark their 20th.

I know its been done, damn kids mixing carbon fiber and concrete .

Hell some guy here in town Built a 200' long Floating concrete pier/slips. He used like 400' to make it. And it looks good I will take a photo one day.

My point was Wally can do difficult things and make themlook easy.
