Yep--I fired my muffler-
It is in the way of my 4406, ( well, not anymore it isn't:D )

I had to start it up--boy did that change the neighborhood "vibe" heh heh

I thought I'd share the experience with you guys--here's a vid.

at the end of video, you'll see just how large my muffler was--it took quite a bit to tame this noise---

Ahaha that does sound nice. Its a keeper!

when are you gonna make up your mind about mufflers and sound? hahaha

when does the 4406 go in?

2wd + 347 = drool city

when does the 4406 go in?
<<---heading back to garage
Right now!
I was going to drive it around for a bit--but I don't want to put it back on stands--

driveshafts are out-floor panel is removed-

No turning back now--

I like it. So that's with two cats? Take off everything behind the headers! :p:

i hacked off my muffler off to to straight pipes, but it doesnt sound as gargaly as that...did you take the cats off too? but gotta love making friends with your neighboors like that :)

Oh god...i just made a mess in my boxers.

Bad ass Jon, simply bad ass.

:D :D :D :D

Yeah, I'm gonna go change my pants now...

thats freaking awesome, i want one!!!!

Boy if that don't get attenention(sp?) nothing will and by the way what are the specs on the cam in that 347??

makes me want to go and hack off the muffler off my Dodge Ram not like it's already setting off every car alarm in my neighborhood already with the single flowmaster it has now.:D

but sounds good if ya can get away with it

OK--
You put the case in--then bend the bracket to fit.
You do not fit the case with the bracket installed--

BRILLIANT!!!

I need a drink--

I have serious doubts if I will be able to bench press the case into position--My truck isn't high enough foe me to get it on my chest. I had it up there once-but now realize why I don't have a job--:(

That is a 347 with an Xcam-4 degrees advanced-10.1:1 or so compression-Torquemonster headers, and just the front cats.
It will be getting a muffler--

Please--someone show me some pics of where I need to make "relief adjustments" in the floor and trans tunnel area. Evan has describe these--but I'm missing it--
I have the hammer ready--:hammer:

Nice Jon!

Are you going with the manual 4406 or the electric shift? I've been thinking it over and I think I'm gonna go the electric shift route. I need to send a couple PMs to get my head straightened out on the GEM/additional wiring for a '98. I read through BoatBuilder's thread about 3am this morning, so I'm not sure how much of that I retained, lol.

Jordan,
it is a manual case-

OK, one of my jacks has a real wide foot--the case will ride on it
However--it seems to be low on oil or something--doesn't got up all the way:confused:
