Ham Radio - CB - Trail Communications I have found that fourwheeling and ham radio go hand in hand. Post any questions or comments about the great hobby of amateur radio here. Of course CB'ers are welcome also. Ray, AE6H and Joe, N1LVN both moderate this forum.

I got my new CB radio what do you think?...

I had an old Royce back in high school. It worked GREAT until I blew it up when I accidentally grounded the antenna. The cobra never got the range that Royce had! Your mileage may vary. A good deal though!

Make sure to get the Antenna Tuned to the System.

The older CBs were suseptible to Burning out the Final if the Antenna was not tuned properly.

The newer CBs have circuits built in to protect them not the old stuff.

Also, good grounding too.
