I had to change my driverside front break line at 111,000 miles due to the line bursting...all was well and then around 112,000 on the interstate i lost my breaks....i pulled into a gas station and it seemed to be leaking from drivers side. Now at 113,000 im looking at it and there seems to be no prob...no as a note the bleeder screw is rounded and im bleedin drivers side caliper from the line input to the caliper. What could cause my loose of fluide? Does bleeding form the line into the caliper really matter that much.....is it not just a little air in the caliper and thats it? OO and this is on a 1999 AWD

Bleeding it at the line input instead of the bleeder screw shouldn't cause you to lose fluid (except while you are bleeding it). Make sure you have everything tight, clean everything up, top off the master cylinder, and inspect for leaks.
