random car in my drive way...

so i come home for lunch and well there is a ford expedition in my drive way....what should i do...get it towed or just write a note. im mad cause i live in a cultasac and there is plenty of room to park. and bam its my drive way of all places. i had to park in the grass. shoot it would be a different story if they would have at least pulled up. we can fit 2 cars in the drive way quite well... ahhh maybe ill just write a "nice note"

Have it towed. Teach whoever it is a lesson.

Maybe make sure it's not the car of your parent's landlord or someone else important like that.

Remove the wheels and put it on blocks. When they want to leave sell them their wheels back for a cheap price but high installation fee.

place random odd parts, like spark plugs, a wrench, etc. near and around said vehicle giving the apperance that work was done or possibly undone.

Does it have the covers that go over the lugs on the wheels? If so, put a few pebbles inside each one. The rattling will drive him nuts.

Let it be.

Also, place nails sharp end up at an angle to they will insert themselves into the tread as soon as he backs up

Make sure some are close to the sidewall, so the tires will be unrepairable

All those are good ideas, but some could fall into theft / destruction of property, especially the nails in the tires. The empty sugar sack by the truck is a good idea though- spare parts wouldn't hurt either. A little bit of mental anguish will be good for the owner.

Assuming the house checked out OK? (ie: the perp wasn't in your house/on your property?)

I would give the guy a fair chance. If he lives near you I wouldn't damage his truck or have it towed for fear of him getting pissed and vandalising something.

I'd hook my tow strap up to it, lock my X in 4lo, drag it into the middle of the street and leave it there.

I would imagine a situation I would be in that would cause me to park in someone's driveway. Actually this happened to me once, in some places they have storm sewers that collect water. In Houston, Texas we call them streets. Having seriously misjudged the depth of the water (it only came up to their chests on the ducks) I was forced to seek the high ground when the engine started to sputter. The owner was somewhat angry that he was blocked in, but I had called the towtruck and under the circumstances there wasn't to much I could do except to impose on his goodwill. I trust that I would be as understanding if it happened to me.

Then call the police, which is what I expect someone else to do if I pulled into their driveway and abandoned the vehicle. Unless the vehicle is involved in hanky-panky, I don't believe the police would tow. It would become the property owner's problem, not to mention his cost.

Good Luck

I think we're mostly joking when it comes to theft or severe vandalism. But after reading these, I fear for anyone who gets on the bad side of an EF member!
