Nice. I thought I would see you with that pioneer app radio. Who watches dvds anymore? http://pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/AppRadio

Was there a hole in your dash since the break in?

That is a pretty cool unit too. To be honest I didn't do a whole lot of research on these things. I had the stock unit back in there for the last three and a half years... and a couple weeks ago it started drawing 1.5 amps no matter what. So every morning the batteries were dead. Long story short.. I was tired of having no radio at all so I just picked this thing up.

But you're right. DVDs are a pain in the ass. I started ripping all of mine and putting them on a hard drive plugged into the back of my TV. Jeanyus

I like the new toys, Someday i'd like to get something similar. I don't think i've even played a CD in my truck since I bought it. I either play the radio or plug in my ipod.

Same here, Dave. I've got the 6 disc in dash in my truck and have never put a disc in there. I don't listen to the radio though, just the iPod.

Look killer. A double din is next on the list for my shiz.

UPS just brought my $33 JVC iPod cable so now I can watch videos from the iPhone and use the GPS app. I'll install it tonight.

On a related topic... some dude-stuff is going on in the garage.

Yeah, the one acting as a bicycle tire rack isn't wired up yet.

So here is my painting project. It looks like a solid B/B+ in person. I'm pretty happy about it considering my painting handicap. More pics tomorrow in better lighting.

If the blue floor is a circle like your booth was, that can be the kids "safe spot" when they play tag/chase or whatever.

Its back on now. Gonna need a little touch up in a spot or two around the windows from the masking tape job. But not too noticeable. Here is a before and after. At least its better than white.

I think it looks 100% better than white, and from the pic, it looks for the most part a near perfect color match to the rig. Props Bud.

Lost my fuel pump the other day. Ordered a new pump and a bunch of other dude-stuff.

Column mount gauge pod, Glowshift gauge, a fuel pressure hose with a test port, etc.

LMAO!! Got to love that dude stuff

I take it the lift pump died and not the injection pump? Did you upgrade or stay with factory? There's so much "dude-stuff" available for diesels it's like a kid a candy store.

Yup, just what Ford calls the Horizontal Fuel Condition Module. Its the lift pump on the frame rail below the driver. Easy access, four fuel lines, three harnesses, and its out. You just get a little diesel bath because of the location.

This is the hose I added:

http://shop.strictlydiesel.com/store...60L_FP_Adapter

It threads into the test port on the fuel bowl and allows you to use a mechanical gauge under the hood or hook up your pressue sender away from the motor heat and vibrations (which is what I did).

Next on the list is the Edge Insight CTS. That dood will pretty much give me all the info I'll ever need. Engine oil temp, engine coolant temp, etc etc.
