Section, the D3 looks great in the dash! What are you first impressions of the D3, as far as function/ease of use?

I'm looking at the Z2, which I understand to be extremely similar to the D3 as far as function is concerned, but with fewer AV features and more advanced navigation features, which is what I'm looking for.

I'm totally digging it so far! Just hooked up my old iPod and made a custom background. My BIL has the same one in his car which is why I went with it. He's had it quite a while now and says its way better than the Alpine W205 he has in their Sequoia.

I'll give you an update in a few days after using it more. I've only put about 5 miles on it.

Didn't get a camera.. yet. I might add one though, especially if it'll help with backing up to a trailer. That would be dope.

I played with it for a while on the way home from SLO today. It is definitely the coolest radio I've ever had. Lots of cool features like you can type in a business phone number and it will route you to their address. The bluetooth hands-free junk is way cool too. But I still think I've only played with out 10% of its features.

EDIT: They just called. It's a bad piston. Needs a new short block. Yes!!

oh one other thing to point out, my '06 dropped $10K in auction transaction pricing in the past 4 months with rising fuel prices, as have the '08s from what I used to pay for them.

That pretty much ruined my day yesterday so I thought I'd share that before you get talked into trading it in on a newer one with "no issues"
