Nice looking Sport Tracs on here. Soon I'll be able to share my current project. Let's just say it's not of the norm I see here.

its not so bad, lifted mine and threw 33's under it, bout to go c/o'ed (which i have been saying for more than 5 months now only cause i had a misshap in the order which requires me to send my coilovers back to get other ones dammit). but in my opinion to say that im one of the only sport tracs that has something done to it around town is pretty sweet so yeah man go for it.

Seeing all these pics make me really want to get going lifting mine. I think the previous owner shackled it, how can I tell if he installed longer torsion bolts or not? And are there any other ways to lift on a budget other than a body lift or shackles/bolts?

The only way to get any real lift anyway is to just get bigger tires. To fit over 32s, though, you'll need at least some other kind of lift.

You can do a body lift on a budget if you are patient and do some homework. I bought my body lift for $80 on Craigslist and installed it myself. Best $80 I've spent on the Sport Trac so far.

What does a st with no lift look like on 32's?

First one I can think of is Clusterpup, but he did do a TT if I remember correctly. There are a bunch around, though. Search this forum for 32s or 265/75R16. You should come up with some useful pictures.

To stay on the topic of this thread, pictures, here are some I took today after I finished painting my cladding black, fabricating brush guard brackets to fit the body lift, installing the Westin Sportsman I've had since December and adding a 1.75" torsion twist.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but I have had my 02 ST lifted (in its current configuration) for about 5 years now. I took some pictures of it this morning to post on another thread, so I thought I would drop in and post them here as well.

It currently has 4" Superlift Kit, TT, Shackles, and 3" Body Lift on 36x15.50 R18 MTZ's with 1" wheel spacers.

I know it's not very practical, and it wears out ball joints, hub bearings like a son of a b.... but it makes me happy Hopefully a SAS is in its future. My goal is for it to operate as smoothly as Chad's ST.

That is a big Negative! That's the steering rack you're talking about, with tie rod ends going out towards the wheels.

That is definitely and positively a 2wd sport trac.
