Im not sure whats wrong with my explorer I was driving home the other day and it blew a gas line to the fuel pump. needless to say it spit out a half tank of gas on the highway. Now me and my dad fixed that and it was running fine but four days later driving home i lost all power to my accelerator and then slowly started losing rpm's and obviously mph. My dad has no clue whats wrng with it his best guess is that we need to reset the pump, But he cant find the switch. so any help please!? Even if you tell me thats not the problem try... Thanks

This is what the owners manual says about the reset switch:

FUEL PUMP SHUT-OFF SWITCH
After a collision, if the engine cranks but does not start, the fuel pump
shut-off switch may have been activated. The “Fuel Reset” indicator light
will illuminate in the instrument cluster. The shut-off switch is a device
intended to stop the electric fuel pump when your vehicle has been
involved in a substantial jolt.
1. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
2. Check the fuel system for leaks.
3. If no fuel leak is apparent, reset the fuel pump shut-off switch by
pushing in the reset button.
4. Turn the ignition to the ON position. Pause for a few seconds and
return the key to the OFF position.
5. Make a further check for leaks in the fuel system.

The fuel pump shut-off switch is
located in the passenger’s foot well,
behind the kick panel.

I don't think that is your problem. Is there a restrtiction in the fuel line such as a clogged filter or a bad fuel pressure regulator? What else could create enough pressure to cause a fuel line to blow off? Maybe change the filter if you have not done that already.
