Im looking at a possible tow rig. Its a 94 2500 cummins 4x4 with an auto. Truck has 150,000 on it and tranny was replaced around 80,000 miles. Is there anything i should look for on the 94 bieng its the first year of that body style?

Lift pumps go bad, and are $$$$ to fix.

Automatics don't usally hold up very well unless up graded

No sir the "head gasket issue" was mainly 24v "Encore" platform (I have done a few of these), there was a lift pump issue in the 12v motors that have a TSB about installing a pump in the tank to help the lift pump out so it didn;t have to work as hard.
