Anyone experience this? This was posted on another site, and my ST does the same thing.
i have an on going problem with the 4x4 system.
When i engage the 4x4 hi and i step on the gas i feel a bang, only in 4 hi?
Ford dealer where i purchased the truck has had it back 4 times for this problem.
they say that their tech line says that the truck is within proper specs.
Now this bang only happens in 4hi and only when i step on the gas. terrain doesnt matter rain, snow, dirt. I know that this HICCUP ( which is what the Service manger calls it) is not normal.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
