Stuck tape, any ideas?

Hey guys I was using a tape deck adapter to play my iPod through the stock tape deck. Anyhow, the damn thing's stuck and I was wondering if there's a way to force the eject. Whenever I press the eject button the radio does nothing and when I press tape the display says no tape.

Can you reach in and wiggle it around to un-jam it?

try pushing it in more. It might not be all the way in place.

If you had something to the effect of a dentist's pick you might be able to reach in there and grab it.

I tried pushing it in as well as fishing it out with my pocket knife but haven't had any luck yet. Is this a common problem?
