The ineveitable emergance of spring is once again overshadowed by a new season of mud bogging. Anybody in central Virginia, that is interested in 4-wheeling, drunkedness and gooy mud this is the place to be. It is an annual event, as mentioned above, in King William, Virginia. It is near Central Garage (RT 30 and 360).

This is a run whata brung, for braggin rights type of event. No prices, rewards or trophys, just mud and guts. I go early, because I am old and tired, and have seen my better party days, but I go for the mud, and the amuesment. This place is way stupid. Lots of carnage, just a few rules. It is not as wide open as it used to be but it is still way fun.

I have posted some links from previous threads.

hey i was there. I was parked right next to that SAS explorer you were looking at. I was with a cj7 on 35's and a cherokee on 35's and a big white flatbed. too bad u didn't get a pic of that chevy with portals and tractor tires the size of a man.

Half the fun of going to the mud bog is to just walk around and see what everybody else is driving, and what mods they have.

Good Friday Mud Bog '09, Charles City County,VA

Hi! Sorry to re-vamp an old thread, I was just surfing pics online and ran into this thread which had a pic of my buddies Explorer, the blue one that we did the front D44 SAS on. Unfortuanitly, I don't remember much of the mud bog last year.. however I was told that I did ride in the front passenger seat and held the tow strap out the window when we got stuck. We came out again this past friday.. We were in the same blue/tan Explorer, but this year it was lowered back down a bit, running black stealies and 36" Iroks... made it thru the right side twice, and for some reason attempted the left, got really stuck, and then lost power.. Broke 2 straps, a winch cable, and I think the chain broke at least once or twice. Anyway, it was a good time! Any one else make it out??
