Sirius Problems?

a friend of mine just picked up an 08 X and since theve picked it up the sirius satelite radio hasnt been able to receive a signal aside from for a few minutes the other day.

i was in the truck withiem tonight and drove from statan island to hackensack and back and never picked up a signal on any sation.

im asuming that its a vehicle related problem, expecting antenna isue, based on the way the caddys and lexus's behave when theres an antenna issue with the xm, but i have no experience with sirius so i told em id ask here.

any input from anyone?
