Highest original parts mileage

Im just curious who has the highest mileage on there truck with the stock engine and tranny? You could have slight mods on it too, (exhaust, intake, etc.) but nothing big. Also If you rebuilt anything but your still on the original at what point did you rebuild it and how many miles at that point/now.

I'll go first, I have a 96 4.0 OHV engine with the stock tranny in it with 149,500 miles on it. :thumbsup:

127,673 on all original parts form the factory, took it in to get a "check up" on my dads dime and the dealer said it was by far the best shape they have seen a 2nd gen in.
shows what lots of good care and work will do. (with the help of this forum)

95 with 160,500 miles on stock OHV. Tranny rebuilt @ 124,000...BEFORE I bought it

190k on my parents 93, original everything. You name it it is probably original. We've had very few problems with the expo, it just keeps on truckin. :thumbsup:

148k on my 92, almost everything original. The drivetrain is all original as far as I know, the guy I bought it from had every receipt from work he had done on it.

same here, stock engine with 180,000 with everything original on it accept for alternator and idler pulley. The tranny was rebuilt at i think 128,000 something around there. We got the truck when it was 98,000 miles.

96' 150k original tranny and OHV havn't rebuilt the tranny (knocks on wood).

93 XLT, just turned over 192,000 miles. Purchased with 186,000 miles, TO MY KNOWLEDGE nothing has been rebuilt. I replaced the transfer case after it cracked open, radius arm bushings, front/rear brake hardware, shocks, manual hubs. Runs like a top, *slight* engine tick when cold. Bought as a fixer-upper to hand off to my soon-to-be 16 year old son, but I'm not sure I want to give it up now!

Mine is all original, some drips from the transfer case, and a leaky main, but runs like a champ! I'm around 190k now...

all original except u-joints, battery, radius-arm bushings, brakes (calipers/pads/rotors) wheel bearings, tie-rod ends,
battery/battery cables, tires and some BII rims

96 with 170k miles and everything original under tha hood. Havent even had to replace and alernator or anything. Its been a very good vehicle, and the trans is still holding up also.

my fiance's 93 XLT is @ 148K with all original equipment except the alternator.... needs a new fuel pump, some exhaust work, transfer case work, suspension work, and a major tune up because the previous owner neglected the hell out of the truck. But, no leaks and no squeeling belts

I'm not going to jinx myself by listing my mileage or what's still original, but lets just say it's not my vehicle of choice for long-distance road trips anymore.

Yea I hear ya GI, Im amazed to see how many 95's and 6's are doing well. It makes me feel good. I did want to add I had to replace my fuel pump 2 days before starting this thread though ha.

'94 with almost 213,000 miles, original everything except for water pump, alternator, and radiator. Transmission is original, but doesn't even remotely shift right. Still works, it's been like that for about 18,000 miles

I've got 229,000 miles on the engine, though it's had every gasket except the oil pan replaced, but it's all factory-Ford internals. Factory Alternator, A/C Compressor (with charge!), Power Steering system, U-Joints, rear end. New starter at 220,000 miles. Upper ball joints and tie rods are factory though they are due for replacement very soon. ABS system and M/C, Parking brake shoes. The exhaust save for the cats are factory. It just runs and runs! The fuel pump is still factory Ford.

I've gone through several water pumps, radiators and heater cores though.

the original tranny lasted to 221,000 and munched the intermediate band. drove it another 4,000 miles with no 2nd gear. the lower valence was left in Colorado last year on a trail but that's so far the only trail damage it's sustained.

It's getting some attention now in preparation for a road trip to Colorado next month, I'm still not afraid to drive it across country.
