Because agency budgeting is sooooo incredibly boring, the camera caught my eye on my desk. Took the dogs for a walk, then a ride. It was documented.

This was the vehicle taken:

Shelby suddenly got hungry.

And then I spotted the reason why.

Grilled venison backstraps with this sunset...giggity.

No animals were harmed in this story. I shot a large cottontail but the picture came out too blurry. Turkey season begins next month!

Back to the federal budgeting process...

sweet pics bro! you have a bully mix? we are owners of a couple bully's, on of them is a recent rescue that we found found caught in the middle of a busy street. here's a couple pics of mine:

the white one we have been getting certified to become a therapy dog, and most recently a library dog. we think he is a great ambassador for his breed. the brown one is our latest rescue. there is a great group that is based in berkeley ca, but also operates in georgia by the name of badrap.org, check them out if youre into bullys.

Yup, she's a great dog. Sweetest, friendliest, most intelligent and obedient dog I've ever had. She's shy around men but loves women (great when I was in college ) and children. I have a friend in Florida that is very active in a pitbull advocacy group; I think it might be BadRap. Half the people I come across with her in public are scared of her (with her tail wagging and that carefree bully smile) and the other half want me to breed her.

They are great indoors but they do require a ton of exercise. It seems that no matter how active I am and how much I play with Shelby, a half hour rest and some water and she's ready to go for more. She does shed, but the right nutrition and plenty of sunshine has helped her coat. Her hair did best on a raw diet but that was too expensive and now she gets Science Diet. It's such short hair that it doesn't clump up and create "tubleweeds." Normal vacuuming makes it unnoticeable except for where she likes to rub against our black sofas.

Socialization is the most important part of owning a bully breed. The more people and other pets you can have them around early, the better. Never discipline with aggression but be forceful with commands. They are quick learners and very intelligent. Personality has been second to none in my pit.

Thanks. I was hoping to just get a quick distraction and motivation to study by playing with the dogs and taking a few photos. I'm obviously still doing my best to distract myself from my studies.

yup, a lot of what trac said is right on. especially with bully breeds, socialization is key especially socializing them with other dogs and animals early and often. its not really well known, but bullys are great with people, especially with children, but tend to need extra socializing with other dogs early on. they are very strong and muscular and as puppies, learning how rough they can be with other dogs is learned as they learn to play with other dogs. i have trained and owned dogs for 20 years, we have had everything from chihuahas, to sharpeis, to german sheps and bullys, and the bully always have a special place with me because they fit my active lifestyle and are so loyal and caring. if you ever have any other questions, or need recomendations on literature, give me a holler!

The red badge on the tailgate gives it away.

All great lookin Tracs! Lowered not my thing but nice work. Gold one-really dig the wheels n tires, googled Cougaria by Federal, never heard of them but they do come in 33x13.50x15 (not a popular size, all I need is money tree to sprout and some more cuttin n filing). Offtrac, as always, love the color and lift. Pics are good too, Shelby gettin hungry looks like she ate the little guy in the previous pic!
