I guess its about time I finally got around to doing a registry, so here it goes:

Originally bought this truck in March of 2000 from a co-worker while stationed in San Diego. As equipped form Ford it was a base model XLT 4x2 with the Dual Plug 2.3L with the Mazda M50D-R1 transmission, regular cab long box. I think the only option that was checked off was the A/C.

It ran great, aside from needing new exhaust and tires, and lasted for about a year when the oil pump went out on me on I-5 on Thanksgiving evening on the way to my 3rd feast of the night. And so it sat at my brother's for about the next year.

After coming back from my first deployment, DWD said he bought a Navajo (from tdavis) parts truck and gave me a good deal on a new drive train. So we swapped in the 4.0L, a reworked 5 speed and DWDs 8.8" with 4.10s and a Detroit Locker.

It stayed like that for quite awhile, I even tried to sell it, and so it sat for almost 4 years.

Then two fateful events happened. The first was DWDs whoops! and the second was the Moab '05 trip.

Soon after that trip I began looking around the house and happened to see a complete D35 layer around and a few other pieces scattered here and there. And added:
  • James Duff Stage II 5.5" lift
  • 4.3:1 Atlas II
  • Bowtie Overdrives TH700-R4
  • 4.10s with ARB front/Detroit rear
  • 35x13.50-15 BFG Krawler KX
  • Daytona 15x10 rims
  • 3 Sets of KC Titanium Slim Lights
  • 2 Warn M8000 winches
  • Custom flatbed
  • Viair 380c OBA with 5 gallon tank
  • Tube Doors
That's when the deconstruction began with this:

And ended up as:
