Here, this isn't mine, but it's a friend's ranger. Its an '04 FX4 Level II. Thought I'd throw it in here:

P.S. I don't want to here anything about standing in the back of the truck - it's just such a sweet picture of it I had to post it up. I am one of the guys in the back, trust me, we've done much worse

And here is his car domain:

Idk, he's not much into social internet stuff. I think he's a member on Ranger forum, but he's never done anything on it.

I've tried to convince him to get on here, no dice.

the Lone Ranger

Hello , I am a retired U.S. Army Helicopter Pilot, from Texas, now living in Belize, Central America. I just bought a new 2008, Ford Ranger which you can not get in the U.S. It's a 2.5L Turbo Diesel, 4x4, Four Door Crew Cab, 5 spd man Trans. It is built by FORD/MAZDA in Thailand. You can see it by looking up Ford Ranger, 2008, Thailand, on google. This is a great truck. I'm getting 27-30 mpg driving 55-60 mph. It's rated at 3/4 ton and has great power. I'll be driving it up to Texas in 3-4 weeks to see my kids and grand kids and will have to bring extra oil and fuel filters for normal servicing while there as I am told the U.S. Ford Dealers won't have them as they don't sell this EXPORT version of the Ranger. Hence the name "the Lone Ranger". I'll also be looking for a nice Bull Bar. This version of Ranger is built on a Mazda B4000 Truck frame so I need to find a Bull Bar for a Mazda B4000 Truck. Check the Ford/Mazda, Thailand site for more Details. This is what Ford should be selling in the U.S. as it is the MOST POPULAR truck in Thailand. Regards to All

Here is my "new" ranger. Right now it is stock, It is 4.0L 5spd and 2wd. I was gonna just lift it as a 2wd, and wasted about $160 on aal and spacers that havent even been delivered yet but on the way. But now I am just gonna throw a D30 from a yj or xj under the truck with some leafs. So hopefully I am gonna get the sas build on the way soon. Before it gets too cold.

I'm not able to post my pictures. Anyone have any instructions for doing this? At the bottom of this page, I noticed it says "you may not post attachments" but I don't know why. There is no where on my message box that says to 'add attachments' or 'manage attachments'.

Meanwhile, if you want to see pictures of my turbo diesel Ford Ranger you can go to: http://picasaweb.google.com/msjungle...rboDiesel2008#

opps, the pictures of the dirty Isuzu D-Max (turbo diesel they don't have in the US either) belongs to my wife - forgot they were on there with my Ranger.

<edit> Sorry, it's against forum rules to link pics from a non-elites site.
Sam, there's a thread around here somewhere if you look. It'll tell you how to link the pics yourself.
