I've done a v-8 swap with a C-6 and Dana20 T-case, maybe someday I should do a write up on that. When I do my SAS I will do a write up and have tons of pics. This is for a gen1 Ranger. Still deciding to either build the HP44 or hold out for 60's(could run 40's that way and not break much)

well I have a little update with the ranger, its at a halfway stage. I am looking through the junkyasrds for a 4x4 trans with a t-case for the truck and doin a XJ Dana 30. After the first offroading trip w/ the Ranger I was majorly disappointed so I have to upgrade.

As requested in my intro post here are some pix of my Rangers.

My old daily driver 87 2.3turbo beater. Ran 12.50's at 111mph. I sold it a few years ago to a buddy. Its almost in the 10's now.

And my 99 ex-cab thats sitting with a blown trans, blown head gaskets, two broken CV's and a broken front Aussie Locker.....that was a fun day!!

Thank you! I wish I could show you all the work I put into it over the years. It was a great truck until this last trip that pretty much destroyed everything on it!

All the guys I wheel with have much bigger rigs and I have never been left behind,I always seemed to find a way to get through whatever the others did.

That truck has been sunk up to the door handles a dozen times{yes I mean that} and drove right through!........except this last time

Aussie lockers, cowl snorkel, skid plate and long vent tubes worth every dollar!

...I would have thought we would have more Ranger owners posting pics of their trucks and adding links to their threads by now...

...I know a lot of Ranger owners have been browsing this thread lately...
