When I was 18 years old, I damn near died because of a posi in the front of a 4WD. I have never, nor will I ever, own a vehicle with a posi in the front end since. Maybe if someone were strictly rock crawling, but otherwise, it's a deathtrap on slick side hills.
I guess that didn't answer your question, did it. Sorry. There are threads all over this site regarding front and rear diff swaps. You should be able to find your answer there. __________________ http://banners.wunderground.com/weat...AZ/Phoenix.gif Quote:

You need to disable the auto 4x4 with a front locker, since the only lockers available up front are automatic lockers (aussie or lockrite). Search. Lots of threads on this. Also try searching "brown wire mod". __________________ 2006 F150 FX4 Super Crew - Xcal 2, Bilstien 5100's leveled 2" 2003 VW Jetta GLI VR6 six speed, 2" drop on 18's Old Stuff; 2005 Explorer Sport Trac 4x4 locked and lifted on 33's 1998 Ford Ranger 4x4 on 33's 1997 Ford Explorer 4x4 on 31's |

I've got exactly what you are talking about, front and rear aussies, and they work fine with the brown wire mod.
