Thumbs up New Member

Hey everyone new member here.Wanted to see if there was any groups or clubs in my area that have any functions or anything going on would like to join and have some fun.I live in St.Charles ,Mo.If anybody is close just let me know.Just so you know my Explorer is straight up stock so i won't be able to hit any hard core trails, just the easy ones for now.But i do have plans of building my truck up so i'll be hitting those harder trails soon enough. Thanks

Hello everyone, just joined this morning. I am from california and I own a 1999 explorer. I'm waiting for a look at the 2011 and if I don't like it , I'll be looking to buy a 2008 - 2010 model. That is, if I read good reviews.

1999 Ford Ranger XLT 2.5L

Thank you for the welcome,

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT with a 2.5L motor and I was wondering if anyone out there knows what I can do when my truck will not start. It will turn over but will not start. I am assuming that it is the fuel pump inertia switch. The truck has done this several times when it is cold and wet. Can anyone out there help me out I would really appreciate any suggestions?

Hello,
New member here. Recently noticed some rear differential noise in my 04 XLS so I googled it and found this forum. Been looking around and seems like there are a lot of knowledgable folks on here. Thanks for sharing that knowledge with everyone.

Save time and money and buy one with No drive train, suspension or engine. Pick up for next to nothing. As far as that goes, no interior, no guages, Notta, nothing.
Reason; with a name like Northwestgrizzly tells me your not some mambie pambie and you want it tuff.
Then start a build thread and you'll have guys from all over helping out picking the right parts for ya. Oh ya, Welcome.

intro

i am fellow who has always believed a man should be able to fix what he owns....sometimes he needs advice and guidance from like minded hunters (as opposed to gathers). Sometimes time is more important than funds, so a trip to the ford dealer is the right answer! Currently trying to instill this same philosophy to my 3rd son, 16 years old and proud owner of a 2001 ranger 4.0, 4x4....sadly this truck has fallen victim of timing chain issues....small cracked area in the drivers side valve cover....this is obviously a non-starter ......

another new guy

I'm new to the forum, but a long time creature of the wheel, i have a 1998 4x2 Explorer 4door with a 4.0 ohv and auto 184xxx mi. and still counting. The engine and trans are for sale as I have a 5 liter and trans to install as soon as I can afford some headers for it. If there are any used ones available I would be interested to know about them. thanks for reading

Well I aint tiny I can tell you that. I need one that I will use for a daily driver and mod it up as I go along. I have liked them for a long time and while I will mod it a bit, my off-road vehicle is my 94 Bronco so I wont be going crazy on the Sport Trac, thats what the Bronco is for...

US Hi from a new member

So I have a Toyota Tacoma - stock besides oversized tires. It's a '97 Xtra Cab, 4cy, 5M. But I did the Sierra Trek with my buddy in his CJ. We were on the Fordyce Trail for an early morning run. Major carnage on his beefed up Jeep (broke rear spider, then front shaft). Returned to Cisco Grove campgrounds at 11:30pm!

Now I saw some very impressive crawlers out there. I have the license plate DORA THE, since I always wanted an Explorer crawler. So as I work slowly building up cash to buy it, I have joined up with the forum to learn as much as possible.

I hope to get a two-door, remove roof and doors, install a stripped-down weather proof interior, add suspension lift, and beef-up the bits to make her climb walls.

A Dora Explorer paint job will finish out this project.

Right now the DORA THE plate is on my Tacoma, and it doesn't make sense, does it?
