I am looking around and seeing that a lot of members have an album of what their car looked like and what it is now, I wish I would have done that. Anyways, it's great to finally post a reply, I will upload pictures of my xlt soon!

Hello to all. I am fairly new here and trying to find my way around. I am from Ohio and the original owner of a 1994 Ford Explorer. I want to share a Ford parts website for all to see and pass around. It does have some decent diagrams and part numbers. http://www.fordparts.com/ Hopefully the parts website can be useful and of help to others on the forums in looking for parts, part numbers or maybe the diagrams can be helpful for repairs.

Hello everyone.

I just got my 1992 Eddie Bauer Explorer back from my ex after a number of years. She isn't very mechanically inclined, so needless to say, the maintainance is way behind. I'm trying to get the explorer ready to be a road rider for hunting/scouting. I've already had great success with finding anything I needed on the threads. I am replacing the electric shift motor and just today had the drivers side "infamous yellow door clip" break. New one is ordered and should be in by 9 in the morning.

I want to thank everyone that has posted fixes, tips, tricks and comments in advance. I'll post any I come across, but I'm sure I'll use far more than I post.

Thanks again and glad to be here

Electronic Climate Control Display

I have a 2000 Eddie Bauer with Automatic Climate Control. It no longer lights up. I pulled the plate to see if I could find where to replace the bulb(s) and do not see a way to do this. Anyone have a similar experience/solution?

New member, I have had my explorer now for 4 years, It was in a garage for 5 years, used by a guy who lived in Colorado, only 40,000 miles for a 99. I love it but so does the wife. At least I get to drive it on weekends.
