Red face Howdy

I don't know if I am in the right place. I have a 2003 Ford Ranger; it is a good running truck. but it is beginning to want a little attention. I don’t mind doing some of the work myself if I have too.. I am looking for a place to have my questions answered with out having to pay an arm and a leg for it. I want to be informed if the need arrases for a mechanic. So here goes first problem “when the truck is in park and idling it will gradually go up to 2000rpm, can I reset this or spray something on it.??
Second problem how do I reset the check engine light?

Please help!

Hello All

I've lurked for a little while but have finally decided to register. My '95 w/ 4.0 V6 is idling slow and stalling when it's re-started after being run a while, but not when it's cold. I wonder if there's a definitive thread for the problem.

Hi my name is Kris,I live in southeastern KY and work in the coal mines. This is all new to me. Ive been researching different forums and sites looking for some ideals on a problem that's occurred with my bronco2,so i figure it'd be better to become a member and see where it goes from there.

hello to all

Hey guys whats going on? Have a 97 Mountaineer 5.0 AWD, stock for now. Pondering the idea of putting my 89 Mustang on hold and working on the Monty. I've been sitting low in the stang for quite some time I though I might try something with some altitude. I hope I dont get a nose bleed from being so high up, lol. Anyway Im sure I will have questions as things progress. Looking forward to leaving the streets behind and getting dirty.

US jrog0205

Found your site surfing the net for 2012 Explorer. Have 4 vehicles, 2005 Buick, 1997 Ford F-150, 1965 GTO Conv, 1962 Chevy Impala 409 SS (now 482 cu.in.)

I had a 2000 XLT Explorer and both my wife and I liked the vehicle. We eventually gave it to kids and looking to buy a 2011 or 2012 Explorer. One problem we have encountered on 2011's is Ford will not let you delete the 3rd row seats. We are retired and do not want or need the 3rd row seating. One dealer I talked to said: Order car and when it arrives we will remove them for you! Sure, and that will leave a hole and cost me first to buy and then to remove!! We are hoping Ford will let you delete these seats for MY2012?

UK Newbie FL Brit checking in

Hello everyone, I live in St Pete Florida and am the proud owner of a 2011 XLT.
It was not easy to get the right vehicle for me, there are very few new explorers with a class III tow package and navigation system in FLA, especially in a XLT. A few Limited's but outside my budget, however the dealership I initially contacted on line found me what I was looking for en-route to another dealer and got it for me. Was worth the wait, it is a great vehicle and a far cry from my '97 F-150. The white platinum paint looks great and reflects a lot of the Sun's heat. Glad I found this site, I learned a lot, and upgraded my Sync with no issues. Keep up the good work guys, this is a great site.
