Hi All,

Figured I should register, I've used the info on the forums before when repairing my 03 Sport Trac, Explorer forum would always return results in google. Thanks to all the good info found here.

Took Sport Trac out to Silver Lk. Sand Dunes this past summer, now I want to do a lift and bigger tires. Bought the Trac 4x4 new in 03, just hit 70k.

New here!

Hey! Glad I found you guys. I have a garage kept 1999 Explorer 2DR Sport. White with tan leather. 71K miles. I've only put about 2500 miles on it over the last 4 years...only 475 last year. Not because I don't like driving it, but more because I want to keep it as nice as possible for years to come. It's in very good condition, and I'd like to keep it that way. I have a hard time finding shops that like it as much as I do so I prefer to do the work myself. I'm hoping that I can find some good advice here, learn a bunch of stuff, and to see and hear about other Explorers.

New to being a Ford Owner

Hello all!

I have been creeping around for about 6months and finally took the plunge and joined I have never owned an American car before; i know that is sad but i was happy with everything i owned. Recently purchased my first American vehicle and its a Ford Explorer Sport. Have only had it for a month and it has the typical stuff going on like driver side lean, axle leaks etc... BUT i was intrigued by this by the simplistic design that i could work on myself as most my others it cost me lots to change the alternator even! anyways wanted to start out right and intro myself and say HELLO

Doug

hi, baphomet666 :wavey:

i don't get on here much, when i do i'm not a typer an' i can't see too well either. i'm looking for kit that will drop my 2000 a couple of inches but it seems to be a lil harder than a expedition (had 2 of'em). Nobody makes one, or it's out of date. Like me i guess, anyways i want to get it done and move on to the next mod. - - - npw to see if this goes in the right place, never been in a forum l

Hi...this is where I introduce myself, I suppose. LOL

I'm picking up a 1996 Explorer tomorrow afternoon. It was wrecked, but has been repaired, and it needs new rockers, then paint. It has the V-6 with 4X4. all leather interior, in need of a new arm rest cover. 120,000 miles showing on the clock.

The base color of the body is the emerald green with beige trim and tan leather interior...I'm not sure if it's an EB edition yet, but I'm interested in knowing what options they had.
