what about Interlake in Indiana? It is a new park opened by the INDNR.

Is a Bronco II acceptable vehicle to bring?

I will have my front end done by the end of the month.

Have you ever been to Land Between the Lakes? It is in western Kentucky and Tennessee. I spent a weekend there many years ago, camping and wheeling.

Golden Pond, KY

Here is their web site: LBL

The off-road area is called Turkey Bay. As you can see, there are other things to do besides wheeling, if one is interested.

I might be interested in going, if I can get my locker in this weekend.

i guess we'll let you bring it, if we have to:rolleyes:
j/k bring whatever you want.....except a heep:D

nick- nice, what locker did you pick?

scott b- that website looks great....early morning fishing and all day wheeling! sounds like a slice of heaven! you have been here before? how are the trails?

thats not a bad price at all.
i work in lexington, but live just east of there in winchester

Turkey Bay

This is a good place to go wheelin. I am about 30 min from there (Clarksville, TN) but I would love to go but wont be able to till about Dec. cause that is when my leave is. So if anyone is interested in there or someplace with in say 3 hours drive I will be in. Oh and also trying to get a trip to Attica, IN in about June so we will see how that goes.

Turkey Bay looks pretty good, I would be up for going there.

Turkey Bay was fun. I remember some really steep uphills (once, my windshield squirter started leaking - it was lower than the tank!)

We camped, wheeled one day, watched the buffalo one morning.

Well like I said I am game around the first week of Dec. Would that work out for anyone else? If so I may start a New thread on it and start working on the details but I want to make sure that it is good with every one.;)

Eric

:salute:

I would like to go a bit sooner than December, but I would also like to go in December as well, depending on school.

Would love to jump in myself.... if I get this rig suitable for the task of course. That and a weekend off from work!

Yeah I would love to go before Dec. but I can not go cause i wont be home till mid to the end of nov. I just need to order my spacers from Roadbully before i go home so i can get them installed before i go.:D

sounds like turkey bay is the place to go then. i read that they frown on "bogging" but thats fine i haven't done my snorkel and i wanted to try my luck on the rocks, plus i heard good things about fishing there from guys at work.:D plus i have a new bbq recipe for camping if i don't catch any fish

i also would like to go before dec., and again in dec.......

may i suggest this...
a run at http://www.hillznhollarz.com/aboutus.html in or around oct.
then a run at http://www.lbl.org/OHVTrails.html in dec.
i most likely will go to both, i would like to see a decent turnout as i have never been on a large group run on trails
what do you all think??

again any and all members are welcome

That sounds good to me. Once we get a date and everything picked out, I will have to check my schedule when the time comes closer, but as of now I'm pretty sure I will make it.
