I like this thread. Not too crazy about bed lining my whole truck, but half? Totally

This reminds me of L4D. Now if they only had vehicles... and if they did, I bet one of them would look a lot like the ZAPV.

wow, there's been some activity here. For everyone the X is stronger than ever. Basically an entirely new engine, new tranny, and new 8.8, muffler off of a 2007 X, and "new" bumper. Next up is the lifting, first up is the 2" lift from shackles and TT, then 3" BL.

Lets see the cut fenders.

I am bumper less right now, but am waiting till i buy the new tires to cut my fenders, all the way around.

I have done the shackles, but am gonna try to get by with no TT, or a minimal TT at least. I will get some pics after new tires.

EDIT: I just saw on the ZAPV site, that my location is listed as "a defendable position" I couldn't have said it better myself.

okay so I just got back from Oura (and had a blast) here are some shots of the zapv

I didn't think of geting a flex shot until it was too late and all I could find was that small rock, I still had some room to flex. I do have some rubbing on the front and back frame but I have some ideas to fix that

as you can see I cut the fenders up quite a bit too.

I was going to cut the rear but they are spot welded at the rim and you would have to "patch" them back together.

I am looking at tubing the rear end though.

Im looking for a low COG rig with 35" tires.

low COG is usually a good idea, haha. I'm only lifting mine to contend with logs and rocks..

Yep, low CG is my plan. I am going with no front lift (an inch tops, but probably not) and I already have my warrior shackles on the rear. I have a set of 31x10.5s for now, but the new tires will be 33x10.5s.

I went and seen it Friday night at the 7:15 show. It's a pretty good movie, Really funny. I'll have to add it to my zombie movie collection.

Stripe the X looks great! I'll be posting new pics of mine when I get back with some "toys" after thanksgiving. Getting a Carr Light bar, 6 Hella 150 fogs, and body lift. It's going to look sick!!
