LOL no crap.. But really a reman from Ford is around $2600.00 my cost.

Hi. Thanks for the great info. I believe the part number for the front cassette is wrong. I think it should be 7U3Z-6A257A instead of starting with an F like in your list.

Great info.. I was looking for that rear jackshaft plug #.. my cam tools are gonna be here in a couple days.. hope to get this truck running soon..

Hi Keith
Whilst you have the upper sump off you maybe should have a look at the state of your con rod shell bearings. My engine had 98K on it when i did the chains and the shells were worn to the point where i did not want to button the thing up without replacing those. Also replace the oil pressure switch as then you know it is working as it should.
Below is a pic of the old shells and you can see copper!!

Timing tool kit

G'day mate, do you still have the timing tool kit? If so would you like to sell it?
Thanks
Rob

hey . am new here need help about my mountaineer 2003.

Sorry to resurrect but was YL2Z-9461-AA (6 upper gaskets) all 6 for $1.85? If so was this from the dealer. I think I just got ripped off from a Ford parts dealer on ebay: 1 gasket (in a bag labeled 6) for $6 + shipping
