Actually it sounds like an excellent idea. Why don’t you put some ideas together and we’ll discuss them at the Hooters run!

Boy, I think I am actually glad that I am broke. I'm not sure I want tires from 2001, he sounds kind of crazy and might sell me some bike tires or something.

Not really, as far as I know he's got some neat BFG Mud tires, 31 inch. Great for "nearly stock" Exlorer.

Going back on the sticker idea, I need to know what design we agreed upon so I can get the ball rolling.

Splash, you might try some small tire shops in your quest for tires. They might just have something you're looking for.

Later guys,

Question

I don't know about the logo. I was thinking a simple white lettering type logo. Not unlike the http://www.explorer4x4.com logo Rick sells.

Something like this (although the lettering would be white and there would be no background:

This type would also be cheaper for me to have printed then a round multi-color decal.

Let me know what you think.

I like it, it would also go with the Explorer 4x4 sticker. I mean a round logo would be cool, but I don't need anything fancy.

I am going to bring my two MTX 8" and my Black-outs to Hooters in case some one wants to try them and make an offer. I'm thinking 40 for both speackers and 25 for the black-outs.

Blackouts are AVS, I bought them trough performance products. The front ones will fit 96-99 that I know of. The rear ones are funky and I don't know if they will fit anything other than 98 and 99. I'll bring them and we can try them on the different Explorers.

I would be interested in the blackouts. They would probably look cool on a white Explorer.

Trades going on already. Cool! I'll check on the logo then. Might be ready for the "get together". I myself, just got my Smittybilt front winch bumper yesterday and it looks soooooo cool! I'll be working on it for the next couple of days, reinforcing it for my Ramsey winch. It's getting better every day!

Later,

Dennis! and you were on my list of people to contact today. I know you've got something close to what I got. I got a Smittybilt tube, winch bumper. That means it does have some tabs welded to it to mount winch plate and top tube is in two pieces with room in the middle for the plate. Problem is bumper is only rated 5000-6000 lbs and I have, well, I have a Ramsey ProPlus winch. Fits perfect although I might want to install another plate underneath original one and attach it to the frame. Once I have everything on I'll just go somewhere and have it done. You know, I wouldn't just slap it on for the looks. I tried talking to guys from Duff but they are still working on their Pre-Runner winch bumper for Explorer and won't release it till March. They had it on the market but had problems with it. It couldn't take the heat of winching.

Did you have to modify yours Dennis?
