Can you identify where the sound is coming from (front, back, left, right, etc.)? Does the sound occur when you are sitting still and you turn the wheel, or only when you are moving and turning? Does it do it more severely should you hit a bump, or does that make no difference? A few more details would help us help you.

It is coming from rear. Always when moving and normally when turning left or right. Very dry sound. It sounds like shaking a tin can with rock in tin can. Another person told me it may be exhaust pipe. It is either this or something in differential. It does seem to do it more when hitting a pump. I'm going to look underneath this weekend and see if something is loose. Thank you. Dave

You may have a broken exhaust hanger, allowing the exhaust to rattle up against something. I once had an occurrence with my Trans Am where an exhaust hanger slid out of it's rubber isolator, allowing it to rub an heat shield right under the passenger-side floorboard. You could also have a loose baffle in the muffler as well, but this usually makes noise that varies by throttle input instead of turning.
