33"s with 3.55s ...... should be interesting
It's not interesting. Just ease off start at red lights and don't tow anything over 3500 lbs

Sorry if it wasn't clear. Keep the rpm's low when your starting off and you wont have problems. Just be smart and you shouldn't have any problems.

The explorer doesn't like towing with a 33" tire. I've tow a 5x8 utility trailer with a 4 wheeler and a double jet ski trailer with 2 3 seat ski's and it will tow those just fine, but the explorer can not tow my 19' bass boat. Well it will, it doesn't like it at all. The dry weight of the boat is just over 3000 lbs.

So I bought an f-150, retired the explorer from towing. I'll be throwing 35's on it with 3.55's very soon.

I know I know Nate ... im quite the hypocrite aren't I?? I just don't want anymore scratches on it ... and the wife would absolutely KILL ME cause I have absolutely no reason to mud it since I've got a fully capable z71 ... and also before I start flexing it I need the extended ucas cause the knuckles beat the snot out of the coil springs ... but yes I do need to get it dirty at least once

ahh, okay. dont mash the throttle, got it.
whats the worse that could happen if i keep driving like i do? (aggressive and throttle happy). would a regear allow me to keep my 10mpg drving habits?

and the most i tow is a 6x10 trailer with two cords of wood

The top of the rear wheel well measures about a half inch higher than the front, but for the most part, yes it sits pretty level. A 2.5 front 1.75 rear may level it out more

Just a couple pics after I washed and waxed the other day. Decided to throw on my old NY plates from our old explorer to change up the pics a bit. Enjoy!

Yeah me too lol. I try to wash and wax at least once a week. My camera doesnt take the best pics though. My friends SLR takes such better pics of the truck.

Here's my X after the 1.5" BL...

Before body lift

After

Also a comparison with another X... Mine is the one on the left..

I have 235/70/R16 and the other X has 245/75/R16... and I believe that mine is just a little bit taller...

Sorry for the big pics but I only had my cellphone to take them...
