ok so a little update exhaust is getting finished for good this week coming up. the guy that is doing my exhaust is going to look into the rear and front pumpkin to see what i need to swap gears and a locker in the rear. BTF upper arms are installed and i'm going to try to work with BTF on a set of lower arms which hopefully i will be able to mount a set of fox or king shocks under the front end. just need to figure out a top shock mount

i'm just too addicted to this truck. haha the H1 i guess will be put on hold and stay stock for another year.

Just sell the H1 so you have more mod money for the Mounty I wish I had cash to burn as easy as you do because there are several things I'd like to purchase.(go fast goodies) Good luck and looking forward to the updates!!! What does the exhaust setup consist of and make sure there's a sound clip

Sounds like it's going to be LOUD!!! Deff have some sound clips up and maybe we can do a comparison of my quiet single 2.5 exhaust with FM 70 vs your loud ass alarm setting off, neighbor waking, pimple popping exhaust system Plus pics of how it's all ran

ok a little update i havn't been on here much but i'll be back home sometime this week. i have lots of parts to install( on-board air system, redue my whole system and interior, hid projector headlights, and much much more(i forgot most of the stuff but its ALOT). i will be working with STS to get a remote mount single turbo setup installed once the weather breaks and i can steam clean the underside of my truck for them. if all goes well they will have a kit for sale for the 4.6 explorer/mountaineers. price is unknown but it will be some where in the 5000 to 5500 price range. i'm shooting so a daily driver hp/ tq numbers of 350 to the wheels just to help get the 35s rolling :P as for the exhaust i just got done it needs to get redone now uggg i wish i didn't get it done now!!

a special project i'm working on will be mounting a set of king shocks from a 2007 f150 up front but we will see how that goes... i'm figureing the stock length of the f150 shocks are 2 inches longer then explorers so i can adjest the shock to one inch of lift and be at the same lift that i'm at right now wish me luck lol

Glad to hear all is well and that you'll be back

Looking forward to the upgrades and I will be riding your ass if there's no progress being posted

Are you going to have STS do your tune? We need to talk to James about getting a dyno day in the spring and I know it's a long drive(12hrs for you) and 10hrs for me, but it will be fun if it could be pulled off and meet a few people in person. So keep that in mind over the next few months.

i would be in for a dyno day!!!!!! sts will be doing the tuning for it along with all the work. i asked them if i could be there to help with the install and stuff because i know my truck inside and out they were all for it which amazed me because most shops wont even let you near a bay. i have to say these guys are great guys to work with and the customer service is top notch. any question i had they had an answer emailed to me within 30 minutes.

myfirst focus will be to get my little mods finished and installed before spring hits but then its turbo all the way

i'm locked down in ft. dix new jersey right now. the snow really slowed down my return home but its looking like i'll be home this wednesday at the latest. i'm just really happy i returned home safe and can enjoy everything that is state side. it will be amazing to not have to walk about 300yards to shower or go to the bathroom. we truely have an amazing life style in the US and i would never trade it for anything.

uggg i wish i lived closer i would be up for going out to "play" in the snow!!!!!!! i can't wait to put the mud grapplers to the test you know pics will be coming soon after i get home

Two nights ago I took my sister out "drifting" in the snow for about 15 minutes. She had just slid into a jersey barrier on the turnpike earlier in the day, and said she wanted me to teach her how to drive in the snow, lol. The best part was, she was driving a Subaru, with their "amazing" AWD system, lol....

Oh yeah, and I didn't come close to rolling once, roll hazard my ass....

don't get me wrong i love the subaru and the awd but there just don't weigh enough. my moms subaru does really good in the snow but its too light. then again her new 2008 subie gt is sick to play in the snow with but that was the last time she will ever let me drive it with her in the car

I loved the STi's until the new body style came around about 2 years ago, now they're just ugly, and all you can get is a hatchback?! WTF?!

well all the lift stuff i have on my truck will be going up for sale. upper arms, RB lift spacers, rims and tires along with anything else i forgot. the body lift will be staying on for now just because i don't see it worth removing and it will give me more clearance to work with the front and rear SAS

if you are interested in any of the suspension stuff i have on my truck please PM me. the wheels and tires have been posted for sale in the "for sale" area

i have nothing against any of the products i used but as many members on here have seen i like to push the limits. full SAS will be my new project and it will hopefully be completed in november/decemberof this year. new goal is 36-38 inch tires and still be able to get some good flex

AWESOME!! It's about time someone bit the bullet, these gen explorers are getting old enough to be torn apart now. What axles are you planning to use, D44 and 9"? Suspension plans?

That's awesome I been curious when someone would attempt it or at least attempt a rear SAS. That thing would definitely look like a monster with 38" tires. Is it going to be a trail truck after wards since you're going that big?
