Specs. on 2003 Eddie Bauer stock sub amp??

Does anyone know the specifications on the stock amplifier in the 2003 Explorer Eddie Bauer with the stock subwoofer? Id like to replace the sub, and probably fiberglass the inside of the enclosure, but Id like to know the specs of the stock amp to figure out a different sub. Id like to not have to upgrade amps, but if I have to, I will...

Stock sub amps are something like 50-75 watts, if that.

You can throw pretty much any decent 8" sub in there and be fine.

Usually it's more a matter of finding an 8" sub that doesn't need 200W to hit...almost all subs (other than really bad cheapos) will handle way more than the factory amp will ever put out.

Do you know if it is at 4 or 8 ohms?

OEM is a 8” 2ohmX2ohm and 45wX45w in a .5cuft
