I just got my truxxx lift kit installed and am really happy with the results its not much but it makes a difference. looks real nice too seems to take bumps alot better but feel a little more top heavy as it should with the lift but overall im satisfied and it dosent change the smoothness of my ride at all

US Hey Mountainman06

You do have independant suspension right? Holy cow, where did you get a lift at?
I have a 07 Ironman 2 wd and want to lower or Lift it but I haven't been able to find anything.
Eibach has a lowering kit but they aren't going to sell it yet because of driveshaft flutter.

How much drop will the Eibach give?

US Eibach

They didn't give an amount but the driveshaft or driveline flutter was the issue.
They said it was on the back burners, that was in 07 when I called them.
Been pretty busy since then, so I haven't called them back.

For lift kits see the 02-05 section on here. The suspension is identical. ####################### makes one. So does TRUXXX.
And BTW... I have a 2.5" roadbully Offroad kit for sale...

(EDIT) HAD one for sale, now it is sold!

US lowering kits

Eibach dropped the kit because not enough people were interested they said. Talked to them today. It would have been a 2 1/2 " drop front and rear.

Guess I'll have to stick with my 1.5" Drop I currently have then! hee hee
Maybe we can get Eibach to AT LEAST make replacement Struts for us! There are ZERO struts/shocks on the market now for the 06+ Xplorers and 07+ Trac's!! (other than ford replacement $$$$)

Lowering an Ironman Ed. would be a travesty.

What makes a custom vehicle custom? That is what I ask you. Plus the amount of power/ torque will be insane with twin turbos. So you see, closer to the ground will be better. It is 2 wd.

Agreed, 2wd I see no problem dropping. I am a bit surprised that they make a 2wd ironman edition. kind of clashes with the rugged appearance etc...

I know, I know, I just think they look really rugged/badass and were meant to be lifted, but to each his own.
