muffler help

i live in Europe and i need am after market muffler that runs from the cat to tail or kit that i can buy on eBay or off of someone. i need it to be bolt on because i think it will be to big to ship here through usps prewelded. are there any names such as magna flow or flow master that makes these for our trucks? where can i buy and what are the part numbers? are there are any "trustworthy" vendors on this site?

is that how you want urs to be. i like the 40 series cause it sounds louder and deeper previous owners of my sport had the 70 series flows and it sounded to quiet for me.

i love my 40 series flows but i am going to save up to do true dual exhaust

I've got a 2001 ST with the 40 Series. The first link below is just so you can see the different mufflers available from FlowMaster. For the Sport Trac, the muffler will need to be O/C 2.25". This means that the inlet is offset and the outlet is in the center of the muffler. Both have a diameter of 2.25". All this does is replace the muffler. The rest of the exhaust will stay stock (if you want).

The part number of the 40 Series you would want is 942441 from the FlowMaster website. If you want a different muffler, you at least know how it should be configured.

The next link is where I bought mine. I think it's one of the cheapest places to buy it.

The third link just takes you to the 40 Series they sell.

You would take the new muffler to a shop, and they would cut out the old, and weld in the new. Make sure to tell them to put the new muffler as far back as possible. This helps get rid of much of the drone in the cab. Also, tell the shop to cut out the resonator. It is the smaller looking muffler near the rear axle.
