09 Ex rear gate debage

Does someone know if the badges on the back gate on my 09 explorer are drilled or just stuck on? I want to take them off. I see other people talking about older models being drilled but I cant see them doing that on newer models. I am talking about the one that says explorer and the one that says sport not the ford emblems.

If theyre anything like 1st or 2nd gens, theyre drilled lol.

I think its stupid in some ways, for us who like to take them off, but then again smart, because I see so many little toyotas and hondas BRAND new off the lot, with theyre badges sooo crooked its ridiculous.

3rd gens are stick ons, first thing i did to my truck. get a peice of fishing line and a heat gun. heat the badge to soften the adhesive, then try sliding the fishing line behind it. if it gets caught up then u know its got pins in it

THANK you for telling us that, I thought they were the ones with pins, im guessing the EXPLORER badge is stick on too?
(Mines a hatch off a sport and I got a 4 door, id like to strip all the badges off besides the front grille.
