I Googled a question about 5r55e tranny problems. I followed a number of threads & realized how valuable this forum is! I waited to join until I was once again thwarted & need some more expert advice.

I was looking for info. on putting a 3" body lift on my 98 sport when I stumbled upon this wonderful site. I got all the info. I needed, and It helped a great deal when my brother and I put the 98 ranger body lift on my sport. I ordered the summit brand and it worked great for only $121. believe it or not everything went off without a hitch, just had to make my own rear bumper brackets, but I knew that from info. I got on this site. Once I figure out how I'll post up some before and after pics.
Thanks,
Chris

If you can post photos of the work in progress. We would love to see how it turns out!!

I am having trouble programming a new remote with a stock immobilizer on my '97 Explorer and I googled for a solution.

That's how I stumbled upon this site. Great info.

This site popped up on google when I was hunting information for some Explorers I was considering buying. I've been reading alot of the threads and have found alot of information that has been really helpful. I ended up getting a '99 5.0 XLT AWD that just blew me away. I really had no idea they were so nice till I drove one!

Here's the new ride, in case anyone's interested.

HELLO ALL!!!

Moved to Prescott, Az a year ago and have been driving a used 2002 Honda Oddyssey since 2004. I'm a sales rep for a major Distributor of Janitorial Supplies. The Van has filled it's need 140,000 miles but have been a true Ford family man. Always loved the design of the 2001 - 2005 Ford Sport Tac and thought that reading up on the Forum of Ford Sport Trac will give me an owner's view before I make the plunge to the purchase of a used / low mileage / late model.

Found it on Google after typing in "Ford Explorer enthusiast website", it's the same way how I found my old Maxima's website, so I'd figure it would work with my new Explorer and so here I am

Roll 97 Eddie Bower Project

Howdy, I have a 97 eddie bower that I am slowly upgrading. My daytime running lights would not turn off and during the google search for answers I found this site. By the way my solution was to disconnect the 15 amp fuse in the #8 position under the hood. That also took out my fog lights but plan on replacing them along with the bumpers anyway. I expect it will be much cheaper to run an independent circuit than to replace the DRL module. Now I need advice on replacing the rear shocks. The top mount looks like a real bear to get to.
