My driver's side door lock is wonky, so I looked for a forum that could be of some help. I knew there had to be a forum out there somewhere with a diagnosis/fix. I've since found other annoying little problems on my recently purchased '97 Sport.

Googling for 1999 Explorer Radio Display Fix - this one was one the top links.

Then I just kept coming back for every other question I've had (like Subwoofer swap).

I'm sure i would have given up on the sub install if I hadn't came back here and read that there's a bolt in the back of the stock sub keeping it there.

Welcome to this forum! You might take my job away. BTW, I see from your join date that you are one of the original pioneers of this forum. How many members were on this forum back in 99?

Ya know B.B., I really couldn't tell ya! Rick was the only name I remember from back then. There are a bunch others, but I'll be darned if I can remember who was on back in 99!

Welcome To The Forum! I'd say 99.8% of anything you'll want or need to know you'll find on the site and if not someone could probably tell you what you need/want.

Search for HID solution got me here

I googled explorer TSX projectors since I'm thinking about putting in HID's and that's how I found this site.

Funny how I started off small by just thinking about addiding HID light to my stock headlights. After a lot of reading I realized that maybe I should have a TSX projector installed, so I don't end up blinding people ahead of me!! So here I am, trying to find more info and "explore" other options about HID without having to break the bank!!

So far, since the cost difference is huge, I'm considering going the HID kit route without any headlight retrofit (plug and play). I guess, I can aim the headlights a bit lower to avoid getting "high beamed" at!!
