I had just bought my 94 explorer and I was looking for some shock absorbers and by accident found this forum, so after looking at all the pics and all the information about explorers I did not think twice to join the forum.

stumbled into the forum

I stumbled into this forum covered in grease and grunting 4-letter words to my wife's amusement. I've probably read through hundreds if not thousands of threads on this site trying to solve my problem. Figured I might as well join. It seems like there is a plethora of knowledge here and I hope to contribute as best as I can.

I found the site while search for a replacement armrest for the console in my '99 Sport. I inherited it from my dad in March. He had used it in his lawnmowing business, but I cleaned it up and it runs fine and looks good. Sure do enjoy driving it around town. It is a dream to park, and hauls a lot of stuff.

I was looking at getting a 92 Explorer and started searching how to fix all the things that were wrong with it. Every Google search had you guys at the top & the threads were all very helpful. It's way better than a Haynes manual to have guys who actually work on these things show how they do it.
I felt confident enough with this site's info that I decided to tackle the project and it's been very helpful in just a few weeks of working. I imagine the more I work on this truck the more thankful I'll be for a resource like this.
