Started having 5r55e tranny issues and did a search that brought up a link to this site. I am amazed at the information and help you get from this site. It has been a big help to me as I am by no means a mechanic and really have no businees trying to do this stuff myself lmao, but I always was stubborn and don't like emptying my wallet if I don't have to.

Man it was in the 60s here last week. After this winter I was ready for the nice weather. Then last nite. Another half foot of the white stuff! But now we have no vehicles w/out 4 or all wheel drive. The subaru is the best of them I'm the snow!

Hello everyone.

I was a registered user of another site, "FordForums.com" , but couldn't seem to find the info I needed most of the times I used their site. So I did a 'Google' search for a problem with my '91 Explorer that I needed help with and this site was the first search returned. Your site seems to be alot more informative and user-friendly, so I will be here from now on. Thanks.

How I found this site

I did a google search for information on Ford Rangers. I have owned mine since 2002, and had good service from it, but now need help. The factory installed tachometer is intermittent. I suspect dirty connections in the wiring, and need to know which wires to look at.

How i found you.

I did a Yahoo! search on how to replace the rear wheel bearing on my '02 Explorer. It went right to your site and Tyler92's very detailed instructions and photos. I was already to jump into the project, but I could not find a loaner hub puller nor a machine shop open on a Saturday to press the bearings on and off. Otherwise I would have been knee deep in the grease.

I am a sometime backyard mechanic, and sometimes I have the time to do these repairs and sometimes I don't. I ran out of time on this one, but I would have felt comfortable tackling the job thanks to Tyler92's help. My '02 Explorer has 198K miles on it, and I am hoping for 100K more, so I intend to use this site as more problems develop. I will throw my 2 cents in when I can.

Howdy

I found this forum through Google search just picked up my Explorer 2011 XLT am very happy with it.

Just wondering what aftermarket parts I can attach to it now LOL

1. HID lights (didn't come with the config)
2. Garage door (just the knobs)
3. Seat setting memory (my old bimmer had it, I miss it after my wife adjusts the seats and mirrors waaaaah).

Cheers!
