2002 sport trac won't start

My truck won't start and I need help...

All I could here was a clicking noise and I had the battery checked and it was OK, I had the stater checked and it turned out to be bad so I replaced it. When I went to turn it on, it still won't start but now I here what I think is the starter spinning but nothing else but a small clicking noise from a fuse box in the engine that houses a number of small black box looking fuses.

Can anyone help ?

stater - do you mean stator (in the alternator)?

did you check the starter also, sounds like either it's not kicking out to engage with the flywheel, or the flywheel is ground down.
edit: check ground cables from battery to motor.
If that last sentence didn't make sense, take it to a mechanic.
