Im sure this has been done before but ive read so many threads ive confused myself on which ones actually pertain to to what i'm looking for.

I'm thinking of buying the 5000k bixenon kit from notto i just cant figure out which bulb size to get. I know stock is 9004 and with the harness upgrade it can handle 9007.

i'm lookin to end up with a 5000k-6000k hid in the running lights and either buying new stock fogs or just going with 3000k.

any input about bulbs or perhaps a better kit would be appreciated. notto has a kit for $200 that i'm eyeing up.

thanks

Just get a 9004 kit, no need to get a 9007 kit and have to mess with changing wires around. IMO, I wouldn't even bother with the Bixenon kit, the light output is the same, its just focused differently.

The 9004 & 9007 kits are esentially th same with the exception of the location of two wires. so getting oneover the other will not gain you any lightoutput. The bi-xenon aspect like Dan said is kinda null and void as with the after market kits that are high/low beams all it does is move the bulb. It moves the pattern but it's reallynot great. It would be muchmore useful for you to buy a single beam kit and spend the 50 dollrs you saved to wire up a pair of hella or KC daylighters

I bought a kit from these guys for my Linc.MKX. They were great to deal with and very helpfull. Kits seem to be of a better quality than the cheaper Ebay kits.
