Fly.....I made it so that the poll ends next monday. That way the poll isn't in affect after the stickers are already made. If you wish for me to make it longer just yell. I would like to see a time limit though to help with disk space.

Also....I'll leave this up, but make sure that Rick is aware of this and that all the rules in the "group purchase" forum are followed. No Exceptions.

Thank You
Lee

I'm not a sticker person (window or otherwise), but come on, guys. The sticker for this board is 'Serious Explorations'. This is Rick's site, that's the sticker he came up with.

As far as I'm concerned, you can stick anything on your vehicle, but this is the 'Serious Explorations' website and that is the official sticker.

By the way, the other four choices have been around for eons, either by the Jeep people or as common bumper stickers. At least be original and come up with something new.

funny thing is

This was a topic around the camp fire this weekend at TDS at T-Haven. I love the stickers we have now....but we need a logo. Some king of picture/design. From what I gathered, Rick agrees. He is just waiting for Colin to finish the design. We talked about stickers and flags.

Peter, I don't think they are trying to replace the web sites current sticker, just trying to offer more. There are plenty of out here that are in love with there trucks, and just can't get enough. This is a perfect example of that. I do agree with you on one thing, if we are going to use something, let's be wise enough to think of something original.

Exclamation

I agree, I have just joined as an Elite Explorer and haven't received my club sticker yet. But I have viewed them and am anxious to receive it and want the club to keep it, I was under the impression that we were just trying to make a different sticker, not to replace the club sticker just to have another one also. I also like the idea of creating and producing a logo, maybe for the Elite Explorers only.l

Wasn't Maniak working on a logo some time ago?

If the idea is to come up with an additional sticker, the original shouldn't be a choice. If it is, it means the intend to replace it if another get's more votes.

Sorry if I'm kind of brusk, I'm not trying to offend anybody. Just stating my opinion.

well, let's not forget that this is not Rick's only job to run this board. I've been an Elite ever since the begining of the Elite thing and haven't gotten my sticker yet. Patience fellow Explorers. As far as another sticker for Explorer only???? let's be original. Don't use someone else's slogan.

later,

I just hope....

that someday Tom Rios will take ME to the Rubicon and get me lost. Because I really want to be able to be apart of the "FAKRWEE" tribe. If anyone comes up with something cool, please let me know, I would love to check it out. Maybe something like "I'm not a Soccer mom" or "It's not just a grocery getter." It's hard trying to come up with something that hasn't been used.

Tom was wearing his "FAKRWEE Tribe" T-shirt this weekend, and said you couldn't belong to their little club, unless you got lost on the Rubicon with them. I'm assuming you should be included in the club, unless they did that on a different trip.

I've got it!

"That's right, an EXPLORER, and don't worry, I've got plenty of room for you after your truck get's STUCK!"

I know it's long, but the thought is kinda funny.

or maybe:

"Your right, I don't understand, and don't think I want to. EXPLORE ON!"

"Why just get there, when you can get there in style!"

"Exploring, Exploring, Explored!"

I agree in thinking that it is kind of silly to have the 'explorer4x4.com/Serious Exploration' stickers on the poll, I think that everyone already has those. I have two of the Explorer4x4.coms, and a Serious Exploration on the way.

If I remember correctly, Tom and his cousin Ralph had those T-shirts already in Moab last year. So maybe he got 'lost' (hehe) the first time he did the Rubicon a few years back.

I was just wondering if the getting lost was referring to a little incident we had at Spider Lake when we camped there. Besides Tom's Magellan GPS we also had a compass. It pointed W what actually was SE, in other words it was off by 150 degrees. Must have been some ore deposit or whatever because it was correct again later on.

Anyway, to make sure we took the right trail out in the morning, I went for a little scouting hike in the evening. Since I was gone over an hour and it was getting dusk by the time I got back, Tom, Colin and Winter started wondering if I got lost and were ready to go out on a search and rescue mission.

After a while seams that "Exploring Everything Under the Sun" looks better to me. I voted but Serious Explorations should not be even counted despite the thing that it's leading right now.

Later,
