5R55E nightmare.

Here's a good one. Just rebuilt a 2000 Explorer w/5r55e trans in it. Came in with blwn vb gaskets, and 2-3 flare, decided to rebuilt it because of high mileage. Installed a VBX vb in unit. Changed case after experiencing 3-4 tieup and occasional delayed o.d. upshift after install and test drives. New servo pistons, even changed intermediate again. Doesn't do it all the time but does do it enough that I cannot deliver it. Anyone in here had this problem?

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the transmissions section. Check the sticky threads on the 2-3 flare issue.
