I would have been up for a convoy but one of my friends back home is going with me so looks like I'll be heading back there on Friday then driving down.

Mark? Jon? When are you two planning on heading there? Maybe I could swing by Jon's and tag along with you. Although your place is practically there already..

Also, what CB channel are we planning on running? Primary? Alternate? Tertiary?

Jason, right I have to pic joshua up at his babysitters, it her weekend! and Joshua will be in humboldt he wants me to pick him up at 7:30 in the morning. So we could hang out at jons' if it was ok? And wait for you guys. I don't know what time jon was planing to leave. Or what time you were thinking about getting here.

I want to get they early and have a blast. I know joshua isn't going to want to wait long. We could go and maybe get enough parking so we can all park togather Just a thought

CH 7 works for me we should pick a club CH that way we can find each other real easy at gatherings. Just like this.

Still no real answer to your question

Channel 7 works for me. Ok, I am thinking I could be at Jon's sometime between 7:30 and 8. The gates at the park open at 7, so we won't have to wait around on that. Drivers meeting is at 9:30, but it won't be hard to get there by then.

Welp, the 93 is officially out. I thought I might spend some time Friday getting a cb installed and swapping the trailer hitch-tow point from the mounty to it.

Today though, I went to run some errands and somehow it has killed the #6 fuel injector. It had a miss first thing, I drove it around the block and it didn't clear up.

I am not feeling up to working on it today--although I did swap spark plugs to verify it is dry. Pulling the #6 wire results in no RPM loss and the new plug I installed came back out dry. The old plug had white residue---I cleaned it, put it back in, then came back inside.

I may ride over with Sparksaflyin, we'll see what Sheri wants to do.

Naw, I am sure it is an injector. we had to pull the ones from my original engine to get this one running-remember? I think they just sat around too long in that van, and tht is why a few of yours on your "new" engine were clogged also. They are old. I think we still have a pile of them laying around and I should be able to find a good one in there.

edit--I have not ruled out a bad connection --wire issue to that particular injector. I do think it can be tested without pulling the upper manifold. hmmmm--

I think I can also disconnect all the others from that bank, and jump 12v thru the harness under the alternator to see if that injector clicks. The reason I suggest this is I was poking around and disconnecting spark plugs with the engine running and for a second there after I bumped something the idle smoothed out nicely, then went back to a miss.

I loaded up most of my stuff today as well. Set of hand tools, couple straps, hi-lift, chains, shackles, oil, coolant, windshield washer stuff, jumper cables, first aid kit. Checked the air in my spare tire, topped off all the fluids, washed the truck (its gotta be clean to get it dirty properly). Just have to pack a change of clothes and I am ready to rock. I will see you guys Saturday morning at Jon's, if thats still the plan?

Now I feel like an underachiever since I haven't packed anything yet. I think we'll be getting down there around 8:30 or maybe a little earlier. Is channel 7 what where trying to go with first.

There is some really nice stuff in the raffle looks like a few more tickets may be in order.
