2002 Explorer Sport won't engage 4WD because of a bad control module.

Well I just signed up so I could thank all who gave great info on 4x4 not engaging and they were right on the money. The lights for 4wd high and lo did not come on when I started the vehicle,nor would it engage into 4 wheel drive. The posts recomended 4wd control module which on my sport is located on the passenger side kick panel. Took some time to find one as no parts store carried them nor heard of them. I called Liberty Ford in Maple Hts Ohio and they told me only two places showed them in stock. Luckily I got the last one from Liberty in Solon. Cost was 223.00 and took about 10 minutes to install and wallop!!! 4 wheel drive baby!!! Thanks so much for all your help.Im sure it would have cost over 400.00 for the dealer to fix it.
