Transmission swap questions
I am looking to swap my trans for another because mine is starting to jump out of gear. My x has 135,000 on it now and has already been rebuilt before i bought it. Its a 97 x sport 4x4. I bought it for $2500. I have only put about 5,000 miles on it till it started slipping. It only slips when you have drove it for over an hour or so. I have read all the threads about how terrible these transmissions CAN be. Im sure not everyone has problems with them but i am so i am wanting to know if anyone knows a good swap for my x and some details about your decision. Thx in advance! I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!

I know i need the motor to trans and the trans to transfer adapters and slao the tv and cable conn. but will this work with my 97 sport 4.0 sohc with 4:10 gearing? Any other comments about this or other types of transmissions will be greatly appreciated! thx in advance again!
