Does this look good?

I haven't posted here in years, I am a member from waaaay back. I actually still wear my faded, tattered explorer4x4 shirt from back in like '02 or '03.

Anyways, I am looking at this bronco II as a daily driver. It is a '90 XLT, with 5 sp and manual 4wd. Supposedly the 2.9 was rebuilt recently, by the person that sold it to the current seller. It has done a lot of sitting, instead of driving, and that is the reason the guy wants to sell it, he just can't watch it sit anymore.

It has a 6" suspension lift and 32" tires, on aftermarket 15" wheels. Options are
(all functioning) pw, pl, ps, ac.

The seller sent me more pics, I saw one rusty spot in front of the pass rear wheel opening. The interior is completely intact, in good shape, upholstery, dash, headliner, glass, etc.

Should I deal on this? Seller's asking $2500.

Thanks.

Doesn't look bad, I don't know if it's $2,500 good, but it's hard to tell with cell pics.

I guess these are phone pics too, but maybe they'll help...

I think that's a high price. Also it looks like it's leaning to one side in the rear. Could just be the way it's sitting on ground. And also, by the way those front tires lean should that Pitman arm be dropped or is it? Not mentioning front fender looks dented and the usual rust areas around wheel well.

Thanks. I think I am electing AGAINST buying this rig. As much as this is a cool little SUV, it is not the wisest way to go.

I have $2500 and if I can sell my 90 panther body, I'll have just over $3000. Instead of buying a beater, I think I am going to have the tranny rebuilt in my '02 exploder, and put it back on the road.

I'd agree- that's a better plan. It's a decent BII, but I'd fix the '02 first as well...
