thanks for all the help! and 1 more question

you guys have saved my explorer from the junk yard, but one last thing remains!

i have a slight ticking sound on acceleration and at cold idle. i think it is the egr tube that is loose at the down pipe, but i cannot get the 2 bolts/nuts (i dunno the tech term) to break loose from eachother and so far wd-40 and penetrating oil has not worked. ...any ideas?

well the ex 4.0l's are popular for having valve taps. they will run forever even with the tap it just sounds ugly
