Question Vita: Herring in Sour Cream. WTF!

So coming back from the supermarket yesterday we started to unpack the food. Then we came across somthing that we didn't buy, nor were we charged for. Vita: Herring in Real Sour Cream. Just the thought of it makes me want to puke!

However it was all worth it just for coming across this Blog on food reviews of this product called, "I try it so you don't have to" I had tears in my eyes I laughed so hard.

http://www.sogoodblog.com/2009/01/14...al-sour-cream/

..and no I'm not trying it...maybe I can catch stray cats with it

Did you have April with you, and by chance did she mean to shoplift this?

I hate it when they hide nasty stuff in look alike packaging. That is cheating.

Actually my jar is bigger, I thought it was Mayo at first.

That Jet puffed stuff, Zukmam uses for making home made Fudge...which is to die for...hasn't made in some time though.

Oh yeah. Vegemite is used like butter or jam/jelly down there. Nothing will sober you up like a couple slices of vegemite toast.

My daughter has me hooked on this stuff. Peanut butter and puffed sandwich instead of jelly. Even better if you toast the halves in the oven first.

OK my dad said he likes creamed herring, and would try this. I told him to slap mom because I must not be his kid. We got a good chuckle over all this on the phone.

Well, since people are posting stuff to do with the marshmellow creme, try this...

one 8oz. block of cream cheese (regular or light)
two 7oz. jars of marshmellow creme

Unwrap cream cheese, place in microwave safe bowl (I use a 6" to 8" wide bowl at least). Microwave the cream cheese until it just starts to melt down. Remove from microwave, add the two jars of marshmellow creme, and mix thoroughly with an electric hand mixer. Refridgerate. Great dip for fresh fruit...
