The bolt has to come out for the toe link to be removed. There is a recess in the toe link where the bolt locks into.

I'm in the middle of the same thing myself. I have the bolt out.. But I'm having issues yanking the toe link out. I guess I'll try to wedge in a bigger screwdriver!

got a pic?
just guessing, chisel it apart then put the nut back on couple of turns so you don't damage the threads and tap the bolt out, soak it down with Bplaster, tap with BFH, don't damage the threads! or you making a trip to the dealer. If i'm not mistaken that bolt has groves to hold the control arm. ..might need a pickle fork or tie rod separator.

Here you go. You can kinda see the indentation in the toe link.

if you have to get the bolt out, then my question is how do you do that? the four sided bolt head is right against the knuckle so it cant be turned. does the recess you mentioned have anything to do with this?

put the nut back on couple of turns so you don't damage the threads and tap the bolt out using the nut, don't hit the threads, that bolt isn't threaded on only the nut. . .
hopefully this helps.

When I bent mine I couldn't get it unless I used an air hammer. Just remove the bolt completely by using some lube and a chisel to give enough room to fit a pry bar on it. Once that's out spread. The knuckle with a stubby angled chisel then after a little hammering on the toe link it should slide right out. Good luck bud

I was able to get the wrench on the square end of the bolt and turn it ever so slightly. There is a small amount of space where it can turn just enough. Heat works too.. But be care of the toe link rubber.
Once it was "cracked" I just kept moving it back and forth. With the nut on and a socket on the nut I was able to hammer it until it slowly worked free.

Now back to trying to get the toe link out!

thanks EVERYBODY!

jrford thats the info i needed. got the one bolt out. but the bolt on top is freekin forged on there it looks like. just hope my elbow grease doesnt ultimately break the bolt.

I was finally able to get my toe link out! But in the process I killed the rubber part. Guess I'll have to replace that too? Damn!
